We also collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and activity logs, to operate and protect the website.

Please do not include payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive health information in booking notes.

We use your information to:

• Process booking requests and send booking updates.
• Manage accounts, vendor listings and availability.
• Keep the website secure and prevent misuse.

3. How we share your information

We share relevant contact and appointment details with your selected vendor so they can manage your booking.

We also use service providers for hosting, authentication and sending notifications. We may disclose information when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information. Vendors are responsible for protecting the information they receive and must not use it for unrelated marketing without appropriate permission.

4. Payments

BookingOven does not currently collect online payments or payment-card details. Any payment made directly to a vendor is handled by that vendor.

We use essential cookies or similar technologies for login, security and website functionality. If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain it and request consent where required.

6. Storage and security

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide our services and meet applicable obligations. Some service providers may process information outside Sri Lanka.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, although no online service can guarantee complete security.

We may verify your identity and retain certain records where necessary to meet legal obligations.
